Resumo:
O presente artigo tem como tema central o transtorno de compulsão alimentar, questão que vem acarretando muito sofrimento psicológico em indivíduos acometidos por esta condição. Este distúrbio está relacionado tanto a fatores psicológicos como a questões sociais. Desta forma, o objetivo desta pesquisa é estabelecer uma relação entre este transtorno e a psicanálise, verificando suas implicações na sociedade no tangente à busca incessante pelo preenchimento de vazios interiores através da comida. Visando alcançar tais objetivos, o método de revisão bibliográfica integrativa foi utilizado. Ademais, o presente trabalho almeja explanar de forma concisa a temática proposta, trazendo reflexões da Psicologia sob uma perspectiva psicanalítica, tal como a importância de pontuar sobre a relação desse transtorno alimentar e a obesidade, para que o profissional da Psicologia possa auxiliar no processo do indivíduo que sofre em detrimento desse distúrbio.
Abstract:
The main theme of this article is binge eating disorder, an issue that has caused a lot of psychological suffering in individuals affected by this condition. This disorder is related to both psychological factors and social issues. Thus, the objective of this research is to establish a relationship between this disorder and psychoanalysis, verifying its implications for society in terms of the incessant search for filling interior voids through food. In order to achieve these goals, the integrative literature review method was used. Furthermore, the present work aims to concisely explain the proposed theme, bringing reflections on Psychology from a psychoanalytic perspective, such as the importance of pointing out the relationship between this eating disorder and obesity, so that the Psychology professional can help in the process of individual suffering at the expense of this disorder.
