Resumo:
O presente artigo, fruto de pesquisa documental, teve por objetivo analisar a oferta de serviços de saúde mental na infância no Município de Araguaína Tocantins. Para tanto, trabalhou-se com entrevistas semiestruturadas aplicadas de forma online e presencial, em instituições como Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Infantil e Secretaria Municipal de Saúde. Além disso, também foram realizadas visitas institucionais e analisados alguns dados históricos e estatísticos. A pesquisa constatou que o município de Araguaína, embora esteja à frente da maioria dos demais municípios da região e tenha evoluído no que diz respeito a oferta de serviços de saúde mental na infância, ainda não dispõe de uma rede de atenção psicossocial infantil a contento às necessidades de sua população, sobretudo pelo fato de que essa ainda é muito acessada por usuários de cidades circunvizinhas. O CAPS infantil trabalha visando o oferecimento de serviços a favor da saúde mental e física das crianças e adolescentes da comunidade, sendo assim, através do trabalho em equipe multidisciplinar, colaboram com funções médicas, psicoterapêuticas, psicopedagogas, de enfermagem, e entre outras, com o intuito da promoção de saúde mental, e consequentemente, a inclusão e reinserção desses indivíduos na esfera social.
Abstract:
This article, the result of documentary research, aimed to analyze the provision of mental health services for children in the municipality of Araguaína Tocantins. To this end, semi-structured interviews were applied online and in person, in institutions such as the Child Psychosocial Care Center and the Municipal Health Department. In addition, institutional visits were also made and some historical and statistical data were analyzed. The survey found that the municipality of Araguaína, although it is ahead of most other municipalities in the region and has evolved with regard to the provision of mental health services in childhood, still does not have a child psychosocial care network to the satisfaction of the needs of its population, mainly due to the fact that it is still very accessible by users from surrounding cities. The children's CAPS works to offer services in favor of the mental and physical health of children and adolescents in the community, thus, through multidisciplinary teamwork, they collaborate with medical, psychotherapeutic, psychopedagogical, nursing functions, and among others, with the purpose of promoting mental health, and consequently, the inclusion and reintegration of these individuals into the social sphere.
