Resumo:
Este artigo analisa a variação de preços praticados no comércio varejista da cidade de Araguaína-TO. O objetivo é verificar o índice de inflação neste município, uma vez que este não pertence às áreas pesquisadas pelo IBGE para cálculo do índice inflacionário. Este estudo foi desenvolvido inicialmente através de pesquisa bibliográfica a respeito do tema e, como esta análise, é realizada pelo IBGE. Posteriormente, foi desenvolvida a pesquisa de campo onde foram coletados e analisados os preços praticados pelo comércio varejista em Araguaína-TO durante um intervalo de 12 meses. Através da pesquisa pode-se observar que, de modo geral, os preços praticados neste município sofrem variações mais elevadas em relação aos índices divulgados pelo IBGE no âmbito nacional. Portanto, conclui-se que é importante a realização do estudo, pois, através deste, torna-se possível identificar o efeito da variação dos preços em âmbito local.
Abstract:
This article analyzes the variation of prices practiced in the retail trade of Araguaína-TO. The goal is to verify the inflation index in this city, due to the fact that it doesn’t belong to the areas researched by IBGE to calculate the inflation index. This study was initially developed through bibliographical research about the subject and how this analysis has been made by IBGE. Subsequently, the field research was developed where, the prices practiced by the retail trade in Araguaína-TO were collected and analyzed in 12 month. Through the research it can be noticed that, in general, the prices practiced in this city suffers greater variations compared to the indices divulged by IBGE in the national scope. Through the research it can be noticed that, in general, the prices practiced in this city are not compatible with the indices divulged by IBGE in the national scope. Therefore, it is concluded that the study is important because, through this, it becomes possible to identify the effect of the price variation in local scope.
