Resumo:
A morte é um fenômeno natural e tal como o nascimento integra o desenvolvimento do homem desde o início da humanidade. Ao se deparar com a própria finitude o sujeito experimenta medo e ansiedade. O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender como a vivência da ansiedade e o temor frente à morte pode proporcionar um processo de ressignificação na vida do sujeito. Por meio de descritores específicos foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica qualitativa, assim foram selecionados periódicos nas seguintes bases de dados: Portal de Periódicos Eletrônicos em Psicologia (PePSIC), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciElo), Biblioteca Virtual de Psicología (BVSPSI), Periódicos Eletrônicos de Psicologia (PePSIC - BVS), bem como livros e revistas acerca da temática. A pesquisa demonstrou que o sofrimento pode direcionar ao ser humano atravessar de maneira menos temerosa o seu findar.
Abstract:
Death is a natural phenomenon and, like birth, the development of man since the beginning of humanity. When faced with his own finitude, the subject experiences fear and anxiety. The objective of the study was to understand how the experience of anxiety and fear of death can provide a process of resignification in the subject's life. Qualitative bibliographic research was carried out through specific descriptors, so journals were selected from the following databases: Portal of Electronic Journals in Psychology (PePSIC), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciElo), Virtual Library of Psychology (BVSPSI), Electronic Journals of Psychology (PePSIC - BVS), as well as books and magazines about the theme. The adequate research that suffering can direct to the human being to go through its ending with less fear.
