Resumo:
O presente trabalho tem como base investigar o fenômeno Gaslighting e suas formas de atuação. A temática foi delimitada nas relações afetivas heterossexuais e sua análise foi realizada por meio da perspectiva materialista de gênero. O objetivo de estudo se deu em compreender como esse tipo de violência ocorre dentro dos relacionamentos, e como identifica-lo, tendo em vista que é uma violência que ocorre frequentemente no Brasil. O estudo foi realizado a partir do método dedutivo, por meio de um levantamento de literatura. Por fim, conclui-se que há anos o termo “louca” tem sido usado para deslegitimar a fala da mulher, e que o gaslighting está inserido nas relações sendo naturalizado para assegurar os sistemas de poder do patriarcalismo e do machismo o qual se deve colocar fim.
Abstract:
The present work is based on investigating the Gaslighting phenomenon and its forms of action. The theme was delimited in heterosexual affective relationships and its analysis was carried out through a materialist gender perspective. The objective of the study was to understand how this type of violence occurs within relationships, and how to identify it, considering that it is a violence that occurs frequently in Brazil. The study was carried out using the deductive method, through a literature survey. Finally, it is concluded that for years the term “crazy” has been used to delegitimize women's speech, and that gaslighting is inserted in the relationships, being naturalized to ensure the power systems of patriarchy and machismo which must be placed end.
